December 4
So let’s see this week for me was kinda crazy! So Elder Ferris left on Wednesday but on Tuesday we went so he could say goodbye to Raven and we found out why she’s been acting a little wired lately and why she hasn’t been coming to church! Her mom has been acting kinda crazy! So we stopped by Raven and we were like talking to her and she was telling us she wouldn’t be able to come to church for a while because she got grounded and then her mom came out and starts calling her out for lying and says she lied to us three times when really she just didn’t tell us every detail of the situation because she was embarrassed. Then Raven got more embarrassed and went inside and we talked to the mom for a little and she said that she was taking Raven out of of school and putting her in a correctional school (basically prison from now she described it) No talking, no socializing the whole day even at lunch! It sounded crazy and she says it’s cause Raven is being bad and lying and she just uses church and school as an excuse to hangout with friends! So that’s why she can’t come to mutual or church!  I was so annoyed after we left! But the one good thing is we can still meet with her! It’ll be harder but we’ll make it work! God has a plan! And he’ll take care of Raven!
So that was fun but the week goes on! Wednesday I got my new companion Elder Peterson
He’s cool! We found a bunch of new investigators on Wednesday! So that’s dope! One of them is named Rosie and she is so freaking hyper! She was like bouncing off the walls when we came back.  She told us the names of all the Christmas tree ornaments on her tree, but it was way cool when we found her! She answered the door and her dad came up and talked to us for a second and he said they weren’t interested and she said “Yes we are!!” It was hilarious! But she is like way interested! So we are excited to teach her! We are gonna have to use a lot of games!
Then on Sunday Elder Peterson and I went and helped Elaine clean her cat boxes and feed her 25 cats so she could make it to church! We also vacuumed her house! It was fun! And she came to church It was awesome! She had a good time! And then later that night we took her to the festival of nativities! She absolutely loved it!! We walked around with her and then watched the Christmas devotional that they were playing the chapel! It was so dope! She had an awesome time and it was just super good! I’ll send some pictures of the festival of nativities!
So that was good! A lot of good things happened this week!
Good week overall!

December 11
Hey y’all! Sorry this one is coming in so late we had a mission Christmas conference today! So I've been crazy busy and I’m just now getting a chance to email!
How was everyone’s week?
This week was pretty good! We had an awesome lesson with a new investigator named Sarge! He is a retired marine who served in Vietnam and lots of other places! He feels pretty guilty about some of the stuff he had to do and so we just had an awesome lesson on repentance and forgiveness and the grace of Christ! It was amazing to see him open up and feel the spirit! He was way open to learn more and he said he was going to read the Book of Mormon that night! And the next day we were over in the same complex as him and we saw him and he said he stayed up till 3am reading in the Book of Mormon! He is super awesome and we are so excited to keep working with him!
In other news we helped Elaine clean cat boxes and feed her cats so that she could come to church again and she came! She also had a great time and she is excited to quit smoking! We have a program we are going to do with her that is a quit in 7 day program that is super successful and she is super excited to do it!
Well I can’t think of anything else and it’s getting late so I’m sorry it’s short but hope y’all have a great week!
Love y’all!

December 25
HELLO!! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!
This week was crazy but good! Also the hubbub leading up to Christmas was kinda crazy! Everyone was pretty busy and a lot of people were sick! So that was kinda crazy! But over all it was a really good week! Elaine and Kate both came to church! So that was awesome!! It was good to have them both there! They both really enjoyed it! So that was awesome!
We also got snow on Christmas Eve!! So that was exciting! It was just enough to be fun but not enough to ground the cars so that was really good!
We had a pretty wild experience at the Chuukese meeting this Sunday! One of the little kids was sick and had a fever, and started having a seizure, so we had to give him a blessing and called the ambulance and everything! It was a crazy experience! But the little boy is going to be okay so that’s good!
Other than that the highlight of the week was Christmas Day we went and took Elaine our cat lady investigator presents for Christmas because she didn’t have any! So we went over at 8:00 am and helped her clean her cat boxes and feed the cats and then we surprised her with a bunch of gifts we got for her! She was so happy! It was the coolest thing to watch her open her presents and and be so excited about getting them! She said she hadn’t been given wrapped presents in 40 years and she was so grateful! She is the sweetest old lady ever and it just made me so happy to be able to do something like that for her!! I wish i could send the video but it’s 10 min long so it won’t fit! But I love y’all and I hope you had a great Christmas! Talk to you next week!

Hey y’all!!
This week was pretty good! We found 13 new people to teach this week! It was crazy!
We found two families the Quams and the Ross’s!  And are both super solid! The Quams are a nice young family with a bunch of kids! And the Ross’s are two teens and their mom! One of them is named Kaleb which even though it’s not spelled quite right is pretty dope!
He is super interested to learn more! He loves Jesus and church and he’s loved what he has read from the Book of Mormon so far. So that’s pretty awesome! We are super excited to work with him!
Elaine is back on date March 17 so that pretty exciting! She is still trying to quit smoking! But we had a way good dinner with her at a members house this week! It was the Shaw’s and they are awesome! They invited her and went and picked her up! Then they helped teach her and brother Shaw who is a doctor and apparently really good a helping people quit smoking. He talked to her a ton about that and I think it’s going to help her a ton! Also one of the little girls, Eden, as Elaine was leaving said,  "We need to have her come back!" And I think that just made Elaine’s day! So that was pretty awesome!
On Thursday we had a good lesson with Kate! She is progressing super well! And is super into studying the scriptures! She started a study journal last night and I think it’s going to help her a ton! She is awesome! She also came to church and had a really good time so that was pretty awesome!
Then on Sunday the Chuukese group got a Senior couple assigned to them so that was pretty exciting! It’ll be way good to have them helping out!
I can’t think of much else that happened besides that! Hope y’all had a great week!
 Love ya!

Hey y’all! This week was really good! We had a a good amount of lessons this week! Monday night we taught Dana and Rod Griffee and it was awesome! They have been searching for the gospel! Rod said, "Why have I not found this before now?" It was dope!
We also taught one of our new investigators Tiffany this week and we brought two of the ladies form the ward to meet her! She like them and we had a good lesson about the Plan of Salvation and she really like it! And it was cool during the lesson one of her daughters went and got up on one of the ladies from the wards lap and it was pretty funny! It was a good lesson though!
They next day we went and had a few good lessons one was with Dalton a professional fighter we are teaching and then Angel a member's granddaughter who we’ve been teaching on and off! And that was pretty good too! We also had a dinner with Jason one of our other investigators and we taught him the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it was dope! Then we had a Lesson with Kate! She is on fire. She's been reading the Book of Mormon and she has a study journal that she’s been writing scriptures she likes and writing down things she likes about each of the scriptures she reads! It’s awesome! Her fiancΓ© also came to the lessons which hasn’t ever happened before so that was pretty exciting! We taught her the word of wisdom and she loved it and committed to live it! She is so solid!
Other than that we had a few other lessons with Elaine and a few others! It was a really good week!
Hope y’all had a good week!
Love y’all!

Hey y'all! This week has been good!
Monday we had a super good lesson with Rod and Dana Griffee some of our newer investigators!  And it was awesome! We went over and had dinner first and it was super good! They made this Tater tot casserole that was booooomb!!! And then we taught them about prophets and answered a bunch of questions! They are just loving everything we teach! And they absolutely love us! Oh, also funny thing that happened while we were there! So we came in and they were still getting dinner ready and so we went into the living room to wait and while we were in there, their 7 year old son went and turned on the tv and were like, "okay whatever." but then the grandma who has dementia started complaining because he was watching some kids show. So he turned on The Cult of Chucky.  So we are just like chilling there trying not to watch this and the 7 year old and the old grandma are loving The Cult of Chucky.  I was trying so hard not to die laughing! And then rod and Dana came in and started talking to us and didn’t even notice what was on! Then when they finally did they were like “agh, were so sorry! “ and shut it off. It was so funny!!
That’s about all that happened on Monday!
Tuesday
We watched the broadcast of President Nelson being called and then the press conference after and I died when they ask about what he was gonna do about inequality in the church and he answered and then they said what about woman and he’s like, "I love them.“ Go watch it if you haven’t. It’s so freaking hilarious! I was literally on the ground laughing!
Then later that day we went to the dentist for Elder Peterson! And he ended up needing a crown so we were there for a while!
Wednesday
I went on exchanges with on of the Spanish elders! And we had district meetings! That was pretty good! We did a ton of service! We helped someone move last minute! Then help someone else clean up their dad's old house (his dad passed away) so that was good! Then we were gonna have a lesson with Elaine but that turned into us helping her help a friend clean cat boxes. She has a friend who has 15 cats and is trying to do he same thing as Elaine! Her house was really clean though! You couldn’t even smell the cats!  So that was interesting! That’s about everything from Wednesday
Thursday
Thursday we had a lesson with Elaine! And that was pretty good! Then we went and had a lesson with another investigator named Jason and it was a good lesson too! Then we had a lesson with another investigator family, Kaleb, Olivia and Dawn! And it was crazy! Dawn is the mom and she has another kid who is 2 and he is crazy! He kinda reminds me of John. So he made it really hard to share anything, but it works! and we’ll figure out how to get him to be quiet!
Friday
Nothing to crazy exciting happened! We had a lesson with sister and brother Colin and that was pretty good! That’s about it though!
Saturday
Saturday was wild!! But good! We were supposed to have a temple trip with a investigator and her grandma but that fell through so we just had a lesson instead! But then I went and did a baptismal interview for one of the Chuukese investigator named Medcy! And it was good then I got to baptize her later that day and that was super cool! I’ll send pictures! Then after the baptism we had a lesson we a new investigators named Alondra and her sister and son! They are way cool! And that was about it for Saturday!
Sunday
Sunday was really cool! We were speaking in church and we invited Rod and Dana and they came and they loved our talks and loved church! So that was super good!  It was good to have them at church! Then we went to the Chuukese sacrament meeting and that was pretty good too! Elder Peterson got to confirm Medcy and that was pretty cool! And that’s about it that happened!
Over all a good week! Hope y’all had great weeks too! Love ya!

February 5
Hey y’all!
This week has been good! Let’s see what happened?
Monday
Nothing really happened! Our lesson canceled at night and I don’t remember what happened after that
Tuesday
We had to go to the dentist for elder Peterson to finish getting his crown put on!
And we had a lesson with a guy named Luke. He’s pretty cool guy! Pretty religious, but has been away from it for a while and is coming back! Doesn’t really wanna read the Book of Mormon because he’s stubborn in Pentecostal foundations, but I think he’ll come around! He loved what we had him read out of the Book of Mormon when we were there! And I left a Book of Mormon there “accidentally” so we’ll see how that goes!
And then later that night we did service for a member who was moving!
Wednesday
We had interviews with President McAteer so that was good!
Then we had a lesson with a less active lady who is super sweet but lies the entire time we are there.  She says her roommate is trying to kill her and that she hasn’t eaten in days when food is sitting right next to her. It freaked us out the first time we went over! But we called the members and who told us to go over and he said she lies a lot! I don’t think she’s all there honestly! She thought we were gonna come take her away, and was kinda peeved when we said we couldn’t take her! So that was an interesting lesson to say the least!
Then we got a referral for a lady who needs service! And so we went up and met her and we are gonna help her build a fence so that should be fun!
Then later that night we had a lesson with Elaine and it went pretty good!
Thursday
I went to the dentist to get impressions done for my mouth guard and that was weird!
They stuck this thing with a bunch of like, clay stuff is the best way to describe it, on my teeth and I had to have it in my ,mouth for like 40 seconds and it was kinda hard to breathe. It was not the most enjoyable sensation, but whatever. I don’t have to do it again and my mouth guard should be done in about 2 weeks! So that’s good!
Then later we had a lesson with Jason and it was really good! We talked about what he’d have to do to be ready for baptism and it was great! He opened up a ton! It was kinda awkward cause we did it in the car and my back is still tweaked from sitting half turned around trying to look at him the whole time, but it was a really good lesson and he’s believes he can be ready to be baptized by March 24th! He is great!
Friday
Friday we went to the temple visitor center with Elaine and it was great! She loved it! And had an amazing time! She is such a great lady! And she kept talking about how much peace she felt there! It was awesome! She’s really changed a lot since we started meeting with her and it’s really cool to see!
Then that night we had a sports night and that was pretty fun!
Saturday
Was crazy! We had 6 Lessons scheduled and guess how many actually happened? 0! We were dying because it was supposed to be super busy but nothing happened! We did get to meet with a few of our other investigators for short visits though so that was good!
Sunday
Sunday was crazy! We went to the big stake meeting about the boundaries changes!
And it was good! Kinda crazy! We lost a lot of rose valley! So that kinda stunk but we only lost a few investigators so that’s good! We got a bunch of new people to work with though because they dissolved one of the other wards so we have a few less active members that we are gonna be working with now and a bunch of new members! So it’ll be good!
We went over met some of the new members who are returning to activity and and they were so happy that we stopped by! So that was pretty cool!
Then we had dinner at the Shaw’s with the Griffees! And it was awesome! I don’t know if I’ve told y’all  about the Shaw’s but they are the best member missionaries ever! They are also super nice and super awesome! So they fellowshipped Dana and Rod and Nick their son super well!! It was super good! Nick was playing with Legos with all the kids and brother and sister Shaw were talking to Dana and Rod for a while! Dana started to cry during the lesson after dinner and it was just really good! I’m excited for Dana and Rod to get baptized! So yeah that was pretty much my week!
Hope y’all had a great week too! Love y’all!
Oh p. s. I made crepes this week!

Feb 19
My week
Tuesday was pretty good! In the morning we had service for Elaine and it was pretty good! We are going to be building something for her tomorrow and I’m pretty excited about that! Then later we had a lesson
with Laura! And it was awesome! We taught part of the Plan of
Salvation and she loved it! We also read the Book of Mormon with her
and it was really good!
Then later we had a lesson with Ellen who is one of our other
investigators, not Elaine but Ellen πŸ˜‚ I always call her Elaine on
accident πŸ˜‚ but not when we are with her so that’s good! But we had a
good lesson with her and Judy Robison, one of the members in our ward
is like best friends with her now! So that’s awesome! Then later we
had a lesson with some returning members who have been trying to come
back to church and it was really good too! They are good people!
Wednesday
We were on exchanges with our Zls and it was pretty good! I went to
the other ward! The first thing that happened was we went to a lesson
with some guy who tried to recruit us to his business. πŸ˜‚ So that was
pretty funny! πŸ˜‚ We were just like, "Uhh we are kinda busy right now
being on missions." πŸ˜‚ So that was interesting. Then later we had a
lesson with one of their recent converts and that was pretty good!
Then that night we exchanged back early so we could go have a lesson
with Dana and Rod but it fell through and so we went and tried to
visit some other people!
Thursday
Was super good! We had our last District Meeting of the transfer. Then after that,
we had 3 lessons back to back to back!  First was
with Jason and it was super good! We read Enos 1 with him and talked
about repentance and it was just what he needed! It was good to see
him feel he could be forgiven for his sins and put himself in the
scriptures!
Then we had a lesson with Elaine and our mission President and his
wife came and it was great! President testified of his conversation
story and Elaine really loved it! We talked to her about baptism and
quitting smoking and she is super excited for it! It’s great to see
the progress she is making!
Then we had a lesson with Kate! And President came to that too! And we
read Mosiah 18 with her and talked about it and about baptism and she
loved it! Then we shared a Mormon message called, "The Savior
Understands Me" by Elder Holland and it is such a great video! She
loved it and part of it talks about why we take the sacrament and she
loved that part and she talked about how she was needing that peace
and strength from that because she’s been super busy and super
stressed with nursing school and life and she needs the strength it
brings! So that was an awesome lesson!
And that was Thursday!
Friday
Not a ton happened. We did weekly planning and some service and that
was about it!
Saturday
We had a lesson with Dana and Rod and it was super good. We taught them
about the word of wisdom! And it was good. They are progressing
really well! And they love us! πŸ˜‚ They were sad to hear I’m leaving! Oh
by the way I’m going to Alpine Heights in Ridgefield! It’s a huge
area so I’m excited for that! But I’m sad to leave all the awesome
people we have here! Rod said he works down there all the time though
so he’s gonna take us out to lunch some time! So that’s awesome! And
I’ll get to come back for all he baptisms coming up! So I’m excited
for that!
Sunday
Sunday was kinda frustrating! We got to church, for ward council and
it had started to snow (it wasn’t sticking our staying because it
wasn’t cold enough) and they canceled church. We had so many people
coming! Kate, Elaine, Dana and Rod! And a few other were supposed to
come and it got canceled 😭 so that sucked! But it was alright. Then
later we had a lesson with Elaine! We just read the Book of Mormon
with her and she loved it! And then later we gave a blessing to some
of our members! So it was still and good day!
And then this morning I got my mouth guard! And that’s my week!
